Motion Graphics: SEABASSHELL Brand ID Bump

I was going through my old work and found a site header/banner I had made for my portfolio website in 2000. I remembered how back then I constantly made illustrations like this that looked like stills from an animation or motion graphic, but I never had the time, or computing power to create these.
Here I decided to animate a version of this old illustration as a personal brand ID bump, in the style and creative influence of Late 90s, early 2000s MTV & Cartoon Network Adult Swim ID Bumps.
The soundtrack, I composed in Apple’s Logic Pro, sourcing environmental sounds from a number of video clips I shot in NYC at the time, combined with beats from Apple loops and details made with the step sequencer.
All images and video clips are from the time period as well, all low res material shot either on a point and shoot camera, or when on a job with a 3CCD sony camcorder, as well as found paper scraps, textures and images, scanned between 1994-01 in my obsessive collecting of oddments, textures, and other found imagery.
